[blockquote author=”- Arthur C. Clarke” link=””]
- When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong.
- The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.
- Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.[/blockquote]
Whether we are talking about the internet, touch screen phones, self-driving cars, solar panels in space, human lifespan exceeding 150 years, nanobots eating cancer cells or uploading a backup of our brain – including memories and personality – to the cloud… At some point in time, it sounds entirely impossible and the brightest minds say it can’t be done. Yet, brave souls venture out past the known, and sooner or later, things will exist that is indeed nothing short of magic. Even when you can brake down the components and know how they work you are still awestruck.
The future is indeed amazing. I am enjoying every second of peeking into it!
